Under the guidance of the late Scott La Rock and KRS One, Alien Ness was an original member of Boogie Down Productions. Shortly thereafter, in 1985, he was recruited as a member of the world-renowned New York City Breakers. As the years passed on, the name "Kid Ness" faded away, and he was renamed "Alien Ness" by Afrika Bambaatta, the Godfather of hip-hop. With such a prolific history Alien Ness of the Mighty Zulu Kings was invited to the Welsh Open for 2008 as a judge and to bring some knowledge to the "new kids on the block".

BBOY Slammo who is the founder of the Elemental Force started bboyin in 1983 and has been an active member of the UK Hip Hop scene ever since. His passion for this creative movement has transformed his life to become not only a role model for young children but has also managed to get himself internationally recognized for his work.

His commitment to a positive outlook has inspired the next generation of Welsh dancers to truly believe that anything is possible and using this art form will not only help develop real life skills but will change their lives forever.

Slammo is an active member of SUP Crew and is committed to building the crew to an international level to represent Wales.  As well as his love for the dance he dedicates all his time to developing the scene, is a member of BBOY Wales and is the host with the most!
